Secondary ("2a") wide flat steel (universal plate), hot-rolled, in various measurements as detailed in enclosed stock list. The steel grades are normally S235 and S355. The plates are tied up to parcels with metal strip several times, if not single pieces. Attached, you will also find some general photos of this material, showing of a former lot.
Reasons for downgrading the plates as secondary are: Defective edges, not always straight sides, differences in measurements beyond tolerance (e.g. width or thickness), slight rust, round / blunt edges, surface defects (grooves, scratches), lack of evenness (wavy) and others.
Thickness: ranging from approx. 5 to 50 mm
Width: from abt. 170 to 500 mm
